The record we publish is called "This River Only Brings Poison". It's the record which best represents what Dakota Suite is about. Melody and carefully layered instrumentation where sometimes silences and sparseness say more that noise. These songs are about bereavement and loss and letting things become fractured.A consistent praise of the music has been its cinematic quality, and several independent filmmakers have already used the bands music as part of their filmscores.
Their music is always a soundtrack to sadness and introspection, but with instrumentation that lifts you up. Dakota Suite music is for the deeper waters.
